History
The founding of the Club in 1919 was partly due to the efforts of "Pop" David who had moved to Beer to become headmaster of the local school in the previous year. At the time, rugby was the dominant game in the region. The Club joined the Perry Street League in the 1920-1921 season. The Club moved to the Devon & Exeter League for the 1952-1953 season. The Club have played at the current ground, Furzebrake, since the late 1930s. Prior to that, matches were played at White Cliff.
