My Grandad had a caravan at the site for nearly 20 years and we spent lots of fantastic holidays in Beer.  It was the very first caravan on the right hand side at the last entrance at the top of the hill, fantastic views, I always used to think that it looked liked fairy land at night with all the lights on. Very sad when he died and the caravan had got into a state of bad repair and had to be removed.  I visited briefly and found it very moving.  Pasties on the beach, walking to Branscombe to get a Cream Tea, fishing in rock pools, going to Pecorama! and many more memories.  One thing I didn't like were the narrow country lanes!
