Friends of Beer Wurlizer

Wurlitzer opus 956 was dispatched from the factory in December 1924 and was the first Wurlitzer theatre organ to be exported to the UK. Its original home was The Picture House in Walsall, Stafffordshire and Beer Congregational Church has been home to it since 1958. Friends of Beer Wurlitzer was formed in 2009 to raise funds to refurbish, maintain, and promote England’s oldest Wurlitzer. There is a regular programme of recitals from guest organists.
