Beer is unique! According to the national press community spirit has almost vanished in modern Britain but in Beer community spirit is not just alive – it’s flourishing!
Our list of village organisations and societies grows each year and there is something for everyone. If you’re sporty, activities to be found on the doorstep include: football, sailing, badminton, skittles and darts, even the ancient art of Tai Chi. This is one week in the year when we all let our hair down and even tourists who may have discovered the charm of our village quite by accident come back year after year, especially to join in the fun.
