Jimmy Green Marine Wins Award

Beer family-run business, Jimmy Green Marine was named Marine Retailer of the Year at the recent London Boat Show.

The business, which comprises shops in Beer and Seaton as well as an extensive on-line operation specialising in ropes, rigging and safety equipment was awarded the accolade at a glittering dinner at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London.

Rebecca Green, who is a partner in the company with her brother James and parents Ali and Susan, said they almost didn’t attend the occasion but were persuaded to go after the organisers told them of the possibility of the award.
